What We Offer
We deliver professional training programmes which suit the needs of our clients. In particular, our focus is on providing our clients with the legal, business, and personal skills needed to operate in the real-world environment.
These courses are delivered through a blend of online and face to face sessions. These courses provide for flexible provision through ‘just-in-time’ bite-sized, high quality videos and live online tutorials. Depending on the nature of the course and the client’s needs these courses may be supported by in-house (face to face) workshops. Examples of some of the services that we provide include:
- Managing and Motivating People – motivating people; leadership and teams; effective delegation; giving and receiving feedback; managing change; communication and influencing skills
- Managing your Business– project management of a client matter and pricing; building a strong portfolio of loyal and profitable clients; cash flow and profitability; financial management; managing risk
- Client Relationship Management – client care; business development; negotiation styles and strategies; networking, pitching
- Business Analysis Skills – reading and interpreting company accounts; mergers and acquisitions; financial accounts
- Legal Research Skills – planning and executing a research strategy using research techniques; recording and presenting this research for target audience; thinking creatively about complex legal problems.
Training Needs Assessment
We also provide a service where our faculty team can carry out a training needs assessment for our clients. This will be done through the development of a competency map/profile which identifies and documents the competencies required for a particular role within the client’s organisation. Based on the competency maps, we can create a detailed proposal of the structure, content and teaching methods for a programme which incorporates the client’s needs and provides the skills, knowledge and abilities required to enable junior lawyers to excel in their role, develop as lawyers and achieve the firm’s goals.
